Intro to Wild Medicinal Plants

Natural herbal remedies for minor complaints can often be found in your own backyard, or just steps away from where you live! Learn to recognize and make use of these plants (in many cases weeds!) for making your own healing teas, herbal vinegars, soothing herb-infused oils, and learn how to use nearby plants for use right away in First Aid situations – from bee stings and headaches to splinters and poison ivy! Each walk is unique, and tailored to the season.

ABOUT JENNIE

Jennie is a wild foods and medicinal plant forager, yoga instructor and outdoor guide with over 15 years of experience. She has been influenced by healing modalities from many teachers, including as apprentice to Will Endres; as a year-long student of yoga, yoga philosophy, science and pedagogy in India; and additional study under Esther Myers Yoga, Kripalu Centre for Yoga and Health, Sivananda Yoga (Canada, India), Amy Weintraub, Rodney Yee and Nischala Joy Devi.
